This book is actually two books in one that share a section in the middle on the dynamics of the recruitment industry. Tar-geting professionals, managers and knowledge's workers, it includes good sec-tions on career planning, networking, interviewing and things to do and not do at the various stages in the hiring/job-search process. The author, a recruiter for the past 15 years with small agencies, has a blunt, no-nonsense yet engaging style - although the recruiters from the "mega firms" he lambasts throughout the book may not agree.
